Prince William County General District Court has undergone a lot of changes recently. In the last two years we have replaced all but one of our judges (Judge Smith).
However in less than a month we will lose Judge Smith and Judge Hudson to the PWC Circuit Court.
This means that in about a month, all of our General District Court judges will been on the bench for less than two years.
It is pleasant to see the changes in our court system as each new judge leaves their mark, and tries to make the court work and run better. A lot has changed and a lot is going to change very soon.
Our current General District Court judges are:
- Hon. William E. Jarvis, Presiding Judge, Chief Judge
- Hon. Wallace Semeon Covington III, Presiding Judge
- Hon. Tracy Calvin Hudson, Presiding Judge
- Hon. Steven S. Smith, Presiding Judge
